We would like to thank everyone
who stopped at Club Calf Paradise during our Labor Day Sale
this year. We had fabulous traffic from as far as both coasts
and from as far south as Texas. We had almost 80 head of calves
from our consignors and were able to place all of the calves
into new homes with the exception of only a handful or so.
As always, it was wonderful getting the opportunity to meet
and talk with so many people. We always enjoy seeing our return
customers as well as meeting new families. It is impossible
to explain how rewarding it feels to see the young kids looking
for their first great calf or to hear the success stories of
calves sold in the past.
We would also like to thank all of our consignors for bringing
their very best calves to Club Calf Paradise. We continue to
be the center of the Western Iowa Club Calf sales and our customers
certainly appreciate how easy it is to view cattle and find
what they are looking for. We look forward to seeing everyone
again next year. We hope you will all stay in touch over the
winter. We are already anticipating some big changes for the
next sale!
The Grand Champion Market Calf at the Iowa State Fair Feeder
Calf Show is selling at Club Calf Paradise! Cam Stateler showed
one of her heifers and hauled home the Grand Champion Banner
on the market side of the Feeder Calf Show. It is not often
that a heifer beats a great line up of steers in this show but
it happened this year and this great heifer sells in Denison.
I saw that championship line up and let me tell you, there were
some salty steers to pick from, but this heifer stood out like
a sore thumb. She is that good. If you are looking for the next
great market heifer, you need to be at Club Calf Paradise. Congratulations
to the Statelers.
Kevin and Keith Braun also had a great run at the state fair. They showed a pair of Maine Ali daughters that will knock your eyes out! These girls are flat out great. The won their division in the open Maine show and then won the Maine division of the feeder calf show. Once you see these heifers, you will know why the Brauns are having some great success in the Maine business. With the Maine Junior Nationals in Iowa next year, these heifers need to be seen. These are the caliber of heifers it takes to win the Junior National! Don’t Miss out. |
